Freight Payment Service
Responsibilities:

• Ensures constant flow of freight invoice processing to meet Newell Rubbermaid contractual obligations, financial stewardship and budget integrity
• Mentor, train and develop team members
• Provide customer service to support Newell Rubbermaid employees regarding processing of freight invoices and resolution
• Run carrier aging statements providing invoice status to assist the US team in managing carrier accounts
• Actively participates to assist with complex invoicing challenges as necessary which often involves communication with carriers, Newell Rubbermaid business segments and manager
• Actively facilitates resolution of unforeseen operational & systems impediments to minimize process and payment interruptions. Informs manager on any challenges that require escalation or additional attention

Requirements:

• College degree
• Previous transportation or accounts payable experience preferred
• Experience with OTM & SAP a plus
• Ability to be detail-oriented in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Optimistic, positive thinker and team player
• Ability to be flexible and handle changes efficiently
• Good English both oral and written
