Job Title: Production Manager-Powder Plant

Job Summary? 

This position is in charge of operations & technology of powder plant.  This person will be responsible for manpower, EHS, quality, technology , lead time, on time delivery, cost and new projects.

 

 

Key Job Responsibilities 

• Prepare and manage a one year operating budget, including capital investments and inventory control plans that support production strategy and local policies & laws.
• Establish, maintain and communicate on the aspects of plant, environmental health and safety, production, manpower, quality and expenditure strategies that become the basis for all focused factory level objectives.
• Responsible for technology
• Identify and monitor performance indicators, like: Safety, production, staffing quality, etc., that measure how well the focused factory level objectives are supporting the basic strategies.  Initiate corrective programs as required.
• Develop the professional, career and personal growth of all members of the focused factory team.  Ongoing analysis, planning and feedback are required to prepare each employee for potential future assignments and responsibilities.
• Participates or leads CI and/or TPM team efforts.
• Performs statistical analysis of process input and products to direct improvement projects
• Maintain good community relations and plant morale so that this plant is the preferred Employer of local workers.

 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates?Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering.  
• Over 8 years of working experience in powder Metallurgical industry.
• Over 3 years of management experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience/project management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, good presentation skill, good communication skill
• Good command of English
