The role requires management at both strategic and operational level for business planning, developing and execution in JV

JV Management and company governance

1. Develop JV strategy and business plan
2. Develop and execute the JV strategy and business plan
3. Lead the JV to achieve the best possible performance and financial result
4. Deliver excellent customer experience and flawless operation
5. Develop end-to-end IT solution to support the business operation
6. Monthly reporting to Maersk internal stakeholders and JV board
7. Ensure Maersk policies and compliance are being adhered to
8. Maximize synergies / streamline processes between JV and shareholders
9. Maintain dialogue and transparency communication with Maersk team as required

Commercial and business development

1. Support Maersk product team to develop more business opportunities and land more pipelines.
2. Use the JV as solid operational platform to develop E-commerce & Warehousing products and collaborate with customers, service providers, Maersk L&S products teams.
3. Owning and continuously developing the JV business development required commercial relationships i.e. customers, service providers and Guangzhou Port group
4. Continuously improve profit margin with more automation, digitalization, improved operational efficiency, etc
5. Jointly working with JV partner to setup solid operational team, commercial team and IT support team to meet key account customers demand and increase their satisfactory.

1. Follow and adhere to Maersk financial and accounting policies
2. Setting direction and driving business targets and delivery financial result
3. Ensure that profitability targets are met

Human Resources

1. Transfer the best practice and HR policies from Maersk
2. Develop and maintain JV HR policies and guidelines jointly with JV partner
3. Set up an efficient and sustainable JV organization.
4. Recruit talent and capable employees to optimize the operational efficiency
5. Develop talent development and motivation plan to remain talents for JV sustainable growth

Communication / Collaboration

1. Management of relationship with JV partner, ensuring harmonious and beneficial outcome to both Maersk and the JV.
2. Work closely with Maersk stakeholders to deliver the target services by new landed customers.
3. Balance the requirements of Maersk versus the JV and facilitate win/win outcome for stakeholders
