Project Description:
To perform System Integration on IBM P-Series systems. This includes package installation like Websphere, MQ and weblogic.
Job Description:
Expert & hands-on knowledge of various IBM P-series hardware
Expert & hands-on knowledge on trouble shooting AIX 5.x/6.X OS
Very good understanding of performance monitoring.
Exposure to server hardening.
Expert knowledge on Package install, patch management, server builds, Server upgrades, License management
L1 knowledge in LVM, LPAR, WPAR, VIO, APV
L1 on AIX NIM for unattended server install
Hands on knowledge on NFS/JFS/JFS2
Good exposure to SMIT,TCB (Trusted computing base),
Good Understanding of various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
Exposure to Powerbroker, CA etrust audit softwares.
Excellent communication skills
Exposure to other Unix flavors like Linux, Solaris is an added advantage.
Should be able to learn above skills fast and able to implement the Documented procedures.
Understanding of Citi Processes, change management, etc are the added advantage.
Experience:5+ yrs,8+yrs is highly preferred
