Responsibilities:

Provide Day to Day support, monitoring Business Applications and Systems running on Unix Operating Environment. The Engineering should understand the Risk Assessment process and be aware of the importance having proper controls for Information security and vulnerability prevention through patch installation process following the server configuration/build released by Global Engineering and IS stream.
He/she will properly communicate with both Business groups and other CSJ TI streams to achieve the assigned duties. Escalation of incidents and pro-active prevention of outages through system resource monitoring and proper Server administration are some of the tasks required to be performed as part of the BAU operational Job.

Qualifications:

Unix Operating System general administration knowledge.
Solaris/Linux and AIX administration skills
IBM VIO server administration
LPAR and HMC management
LDOM Management
IBM P series Frame Management
Knowledge about IBM MQ and Connect direct (NDM) middleware applications.
Application software foundation skill under Unix OS, Services, Exceptions, Resource monitoring, thread analysis.
Troubleshooting and log analysis to identify issues required for the day to day support.
Inter team communication to address issues, escalate problems, propose solutions where required and provide support to either Business and/or other CSJ TI groups.
