Responsibilities:

? System Administration for Unix Infrastructure and Wintel Infrastructure as required.
? Vulnerability patch deployment and management.
? Communication with Global teams - Engineering and SA Teams.
? Monitoring and capacity planning.
? Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual checks and report.
? Change processing, testing and role out scheduling for changes to the environment.
? Communications with business units via the appropriate channels provided by CSJ.
? Vendor Interaction
? Maintain support levels to meet the turn around time as agreed to within the Service Level Agreements.
? Perform Business as Usual Tasks involving trouble shooting and administration for Backup Infrastructure
? Contribution to the Process Control Manual and associated documents to maintain relevance
? Test, build, and deploy new Backup Infrastructure and Server builds as needed.

Demonstrate a thorough technical understanding of the platform and environment

Ensure that issues are resolved or escalated appropriately
Monitoring production environment
Utilize tools and processes to support the environment

Ability to time manage and multi task

Communication Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Possess effective written communication skills
English-Native level
Japanese-Conversational level

Experience

3+ years experience in supporting Wintel & Unix infrastructure services covering the following areas including but not limited to or focused on except where "requirement" is stated:
Business Application servers
Distributed Services
Network Storage
Database Servers
Scripting (Perl, VB, Java are beneficial)
1+years Backup Infrastructure Support (*Requirement)
Some Vendor / Platform Certified Training -Legato , Veritas, A+, MCSE, CCNA, Linux Certs etc
