Responsibilities:

Build best of breed apps that run on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones at various resolutions, pixel densities, orientations, browsers, and operating systems.
Integrate said apps with service calls, be they RESTful or SOAP based, with JSON or XML payloads
Incorporate industry accepted libraries, such as jQuery or H5BP as needed
Adhere to the best practices of the Mobile Development Practice
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers and usability engineers to refine the user experience


Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 on Mobile development.
JavaScript (including experience with closures, prototypes, DOM manipulation, JSON, events, callbacks and OO programming)
Experienced with version control (SVN or git preferred)
Solid understanding of web/usability/accessibility standards
Good understanding of Security issues in web application development and how they apply to front end development
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Proven ability to work in a team and provide guidance and oversight for other front end engineers
Experience and familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3

Preferred SKILL:

Experience with community / social products such as Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Jive, Lithium
Experience with mobile is a huge plus, like IOS; experience with hybrid apps, developed using roll your own or PhoneGap shells is a plus
Experience with high performance web page optimization techniques
Knowledge of web application lifecycle, MVC and other design patterns
Experience with MVC JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone, Ember, or Knockout
Experience with CSS Media Queries
Experience with LESS or SASS
Experience with node.js
