Position Focus:

- Purchasing Management for all types of packaging in Asia (70% China), for E-Systems and Seating, mainly focused on China with coordination of Non- China purchases

- Lead another Electronics Commodity to support Asia E-Systems

Management Scope:

- Asia packaging: $20m annual spends (50/50 E-Systems and Seating) with large diversity, 50+ suppliers - 40 plants, 1000PNs and POs/year

- Entire Product life cycle from Customer new programs award stages through mass production and til End of Life

- Drive or Support packaging network based in , and outside China (most of them not dedicated to Packaging, shared with Commodity or NP groups) that support or execute the packaging strategy and own daily actions

Job Description:

- Lead China Packaging commodity purchasing including sourcing, resourcing, bidding, annual negotiations and special initiatives

- Develop China commodity and supplier strategies including consolidation 

- Align Objectives, strategy, actions with plants and with the global packaging Commodity manager (based in EU)

- Coordinate an Asia network of buyers, consolidate spends and annual Asia budget

- Align plans with packaging engineering to reduce packaging costs

- Ensure sourcing/ process compliance (DOA) through SRM, E-pad and Coupa systems

Qualification:

-  8 to15 years working experience in sourcing, commodity strategy, supplier management and supply chain or material related areas - Knowledge in Packaging area (Corrugated, returnable, palettes, bags) for components, parts and finished goods; is highly appreciated but not a must - Preferred Automotive industry exp (incl. Automotive Quality standards and processes) - Excellent communicating and language skills: English and Mandarin mandatory - Leadership, communication skills in a global organization, self-driven and highly trustable person
