Essential Responsibilities 工作职责：

? Work effectively with the Chinese Principal, International Principal and Head of Junior School to ensure smooth running of all the special programs/activities within Haileybury Tianjin such as; assemblies, flag raising ceremonies and other large scale events
? Work with the Heads of Junior School, Middle School and Primary School to ensure their administrative requirements (such as daily notices, sub school letters and other management related administration tasks) are effectively communicated to the international teachers.
? Participate in Chinese and International management meetings and will attend operations meetings as an observer
? Develop a positive relationship with the Bilingual and International teaching staff
? Provide academic assistance as needed for the Junior School International English program
? Translation of school-to-home communication, special event programs, parent teacher interviews, student discipline meetings, staff meetings, bulletins, newsletters, calendars etc.
? Interpret English test results for parents and students as required Position Requirement
工作要求:
? Excellent English oral, written and electronic translation and communication skills ? Understanding of the culture of a English Second Language student
? Sensitivity to the needs of working across cultures in an international setting. Overseas working experiences or study experiences is preferred.
? Some administrative experience at an appropriate level
? A mature and respectful approach to all interpersonal dealings and an ability to work collaboratively with bilingual and international teaching staff, and with students.
? An enthusiasm for international education and an energetic approach to the job with an appetite for hard work in what is sometimes an isolated situation
? Teaching background qualifications, bilingual subject teaching experience is preferred.
? Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
