Job Summary

l To assist procurement specialist in buying and promotion activities to meet the needs of customers and reach dept. business objectives like sales, profit, stock targets, etc.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

l Assist Specialist with supplier meeting preparation and also supplier negotiation to achieve better condition.

l Assist and coordinate buying and promotional activities to achieve objectives of sales& profit.

l Assist Specialist to ensure stock and shelf management.

l Assist Specialist in market survey and research in order to make proper analysis to identify customers’ needs and sales opportunities.

l Assist Specialist in monitoring product category performance in terms of pricing, promotion, assortment, product quality, product planning and allocation.

Qualifications

Education:

l University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or category related subjects (i.e. food related major is preferred for food dept. candidate).

Experience:

l Merchandising internship experience within the retail sector on relevant category.

l Or 1 year working experience in sales assistant, trading assistant

Skills and Competencies:

l Open-minded and strong commercial sense

l Good communication skills with internal and external

l Good executor and team player

l Willing to change and work under pressure

l Good knowledge about office software

l Good in written and spoken English and Mandarin
