Job Requirements

SQM support for development projects - Supplier strategy / portfolio review for new technologies Initial assessment of HEV specific suppliers, maturity evaluation, risk assessment

Close monitoring of selected key component suppliers for first of tool parts in coordination with the production location

Review and training of design teams on SQM requirements

Periodical reporting of supplier and component status to the Project Manager, Project Teams and Customers

Escalation of critical component topics to the PM and/or within the Q department, if necessary Functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, categories and suppliers

Plan, initiate and control preventive oriented, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run@Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.), to ensure that final products meet the defined quality requirements

Plan, coordinate and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services, in his area of responsibility, to continuously observe the quality performance of the supplier

Supplier Visits to audit and ensure effectiveness of implemented processes Requirements

Qualifications

University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Quality Management or similar 5 Years experience in similar positions

Experience with Processes and Technologies for Mechanical components and/or QM Functions Experience in Project management, previous experience with supplier management preferred Intercultural competence and readiness to travel

Analytical Thinking

High motivation, self-determination and team spirit Very good English (written and spoken), knowledge of German preferred
