职位描述:

Job Purpose:

  • Own the sales process for distribution channel and new business development

  • Grow top line sales by generation of new business, increased volumes and price increases

  • Support sales team for new business opportunities development

  • Defend company margins in line with company policy

  • Own commercial development and presentation of large proposals to channel and customers

  • Identify and develop an channel development pipeline plan, documented within CRM and in line with the agreed market strategy

  • Work in conjunction with the company pricing policy, tools set and processes

  • Provide support to distribution channel sales for first line commercial and/or contractual issues

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements effective channel management strategy and plan, and creates programs that create interest for companies to become distributors

  • Reviews distributor model and agreement to suit the changing market to enusre network coverage.

  • Identifies potential distributors' needs and interests and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests.

  • Partners with sales manager to provide support to distributors in identify potential end-users and drive opportunities.

  • Devises implements and monitors programs to drive revenues through these channel partners.

  • Develops initiatives and processes to obtain regular feedback from distributors on distribution channel strategy and programs.

  • Identification, evaluation, and negotiation of business development opportunities with internal stakeholders across sales organization, focusing particularly with the sales group.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key Sales and Business leaders in China.

  • Study, analysis and report the market demands, customer investment plan and competitor’s moving.

  • Grow and manage a pipeline of potential clients

  • Ensure that deals in the pipeline gain velocity throughout the sales life cycle.

  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects, decision makers and evaluating their position in the industry

  • Frequent travel is required

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in distribution management, 10 years field experience with proved sales record in industrial components.

  • Degree Level with preference toward engineering or sales management.

  • Extensive knowledge of distribution channel structure.

  • Experience in leading strategic projects and delivering results in cross-departmental teams.

  • Self-sufficient team player who loves a challenge.

  • Very organized and internally driven.

  • Experience in client interactions, presentation, price negotiations and solution presentations.

  • Strong decision making skills required.

  • Experience with issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.

  • Excellent listening, verbal, numerical, writing and presentation skills.

Planning and Decision Making:

  • Yearly plans

  • Regular reporting to ensure maximization of time etc.

Impact and Scope:

  • Within the markets which they address.

  • Targets to be met or exceeded.

Key Internal and External Relationships:

  • Engineering and Marketing resources in region.

  • Other sales colleagues

  • Customers and Distribution.
