The Group:

Morningstar’s Research group provides independent analysis on individual securities, funds, markets, and portfolios. The Research group also provides data on hundreds of thousands of investment offerings, including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles, along with real-time global market data on millions of equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and Treasury markets. Morningstar is one of the largest independent sources of fund, equity, and credit data and research in the world, and our advocacy for investors’ interests is the foundation of our company.

The Team:

Led by our Chief Operating Officer, Technology and Transformation, the independent Quality & Transformation team works with teams across the company to help transform and improve our practices, processes and methods. Members of this team serve to enhance employee and customer experience by using philosophies and tools like Lean, Agile, Design Thinking and latest technologies like Robotics Process Automation. This team stays abreast of emerging technologies, people practices, and other concepts related to the “future of work” and help introduce them in the organization.

The Role:

? Work closely with SMEs from the operations team to understand the project requirements. Implement the process automation based on UiPath RPA platform. Design robots that are stable, adaptive and scalable.

? Follow standard change management process and make sure the it’s compliant with Morningstar IT standards.

? Monitor robot schedules and health status. Troubleshoot and diagnose run-time automation issues. Develop exception handling mechanisms to auto-recover from failures.

? Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions, increase efficiency by utilizing latest/advanced features

? Adopt agile practices. Keep effective communications with project stakeholders throughout the project development cycle.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree or above, majors in Computer, Software, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc.

? Certificated for the developer training on UiPath Academy, or any other RPA platform such as BluePrism or Automation Anywhere.

? For fresh graduates, internship experience related to the RPA field is preferred.

? For non-fresh graduates, at least 2-3 years of experience in IT development is required. 1+ year experience as RPA developer is preferred.

? Familiar with at least one programming language - VB.NET/C#/Java/Python, etc.

? Hands on knowledge in SQL/HTML is a must, in VBA macro is a plus.

? Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze requirements and come up with potential solutions in a timely manner.

? Able to communicate with project stakeholders in English, via emails or conference calls. CET-6 or above is preferred.
