Purpose (why the position exists):

    

Manage vessel scheduling of responsible services in the most reliable and economical way.  Provide stakeholders with sounds advice enabling decision making that balances cost and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Plan and execute vessel scheduling to meet proforma reliability and costs.

·       Work with GMC to manage bunker consumption and drive reduction.

·       Coordinate delivery/re-delivery formalities for vessels phasing in/out of network.

·       Engages with Network Planning and Deployment team to improve network efficiency.

·       Provides advice and proposes alternatives to network design and changes.

·       Participates operational decision making that balances cost and service delivery.

·       Drives improvement of end-to-end service delivery for customer.

·       Manages vessel contingency/incident.

·       Liaises with GEC and other LOCs to ensure reliability and efficiency of the whole network.

·       Challenges and improves processes.

Requirements for the position:

·        Bachelor and  above degree
