Job Description for Support Service Help Desk L2 Contractor
team-oriented environment and represents the level 2 of contact for onsite support issues. The candidate must be able to have strong customer focus attitude and at the same time able to work in highly demanding end user environment.
Principal Duties
1. Responds to all end user support issues (email, phone, or walk-in) and answers/troubleshoots any technical questions/issues.
2. windows/linux server management
3. Documents all end-user interactions in Remedy.
4. Creates and manages Knowledge Base solutions within Remedy.
5. Creates requisitions for hardware/software and tracks the approval process to deployment.
6. Manages, stores, and tracks all IT inventories which but not limited to SecurID tokens, tapes, loan system, phone etc.
7. Ships, receives, and deploys general hardware/software items (tokens).
8. Jump starts and images new systems, including additional hardware/software requests.
9. Recovers data from hard disk drives and/or performs data migration.
10. Support remote access for virtual private network (VPN), network computing device (NCD), or wireless.
11. Performs other duties as agreed between the contractor and company.
12. Conduct end user training if needed

o Application installation issues
o Performance issues
o Networking
-Microsoft Office
-Outlook
o Rules
o Junk Mail Filters
o Add-Ons
o PST limits and repair
o OST corruption repair
o Profile corruption and repair
o Group Calendaring permissions and scheduling issues
-Imaging
o Leverage our standard Altiris imaging solution, able to deploy the image to one or more systems
o Troubleshoot imaging issues
o Troubleshoot image problems
-Networking
o VPN Client Troubleshooting
o Routing and performance troubleshooting
o TCP/IP protocol knowledge
-Hardware
o DELL laptop / desktop
1) At least 2-year experience in similar IT environment
2) Honest and hard-working
3) Junior College degree or above
4) Good written English
5) Local resident preferred
