What you'll do:
This role is primarily responsible for providing tactical support to the execution of regional sales and marketing initiatives, events and social media. You will also benefit from significant opportunities for growth by selectively owning and managing local business development and marketing campaigns and activities as agreed with management.
Role Objective
- You will be supporting the execution of regional sales, business development and marketing activities across China and other key APAC countries.
- Assisting local sales and business development teams through lead qualification research, support with localised proposals and presentation, event follow-up and localised collateral creation/conversion.
- You will be providing support across a wide range of marketing channels and campaigns, as well as marketing-specific administrative support with regards measurement, and reporting. Focusing and managing all social media activity in China.
Key Accountabilities
- Creating, proofreading and uploading localised content to the Alexander Mann Solutions website and marketing-related KE sites, working with marketing colleagues in the region and at the global level, as appropriate.
- Managing and updating content on global and region-specific social media channels regularly. Knowledge and experience in WeChat and others is required.
- Drafting and supporting the regional production and management of a range of sales and marketing materials, including proposals, presentation brochures, sales sheets, advertisements, case studies, postcards, event invitations, etc.
- Supporting the regionalization of global thought leadership content, and assisting with regional market research efforts
- Supporting regional Alexander Mann Solutions-hosted client events and third-party industry events including, but not limited to: sourcing venues and speakers, budgeting, organizing corporate hospitality, invitation management, on-site support if needed, uploading event information, preparing presentation materials and tracking attendee lists.
- Providing support across a wide range of marketing channels and campaigns, as well as marketing-specific administrative support with regards measurement, and reporting.
- Compiling regional business development and marketing reports as required.
- Ensuring databases are up-to-date, as additions and deletions to client records arise. Making sure it is clean, comprehensive, stores useful and relevant information and is compliant with Data Protection policy.
What we need from you:
- Media-savvy, communicative, strong knowledge of WeChat is essential
- Skilled at storytelling with data - presenting data-driven insights in a succinct and compelling manner
- Previous experience in an executive, administrative, support or customer service environment is ideal
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across different levels and seniority with internal stakeholders in country/region as well as the wider Global Marketing Team
- Highly organized, responsive to day to day inquiries ensuring all are dealt with in an effective and timely manner and escalated when necessary
- Self-starter, with great energy and an innovative mindset
- Sound understanding of and exposure to Talent Acquisition and recruitment marketing is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - strong verbal and written English is essential.
