a)    Perform month end reporting tasks as per the global period end time table

b)    Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and follow-up on open items

c)    Deliver tax and audit requirements on established deadlines

d)    Perform other general accounting activities – Salary postings, etc.

e)    Co-ordinate with other teams, such as intercompany invoicing & intercompany reconciliation

f)    Co-ordinate with locations& Centre Functions for the reporting & accounting activities

g)    Ensure accurate cost centre & profit centre accounting

h)    Identify errors & deviations and take necessary corrective & preventive actions

i)     Ensure compliance with relevant financial controls, as determined globally and locally.

j)     Utilize accounting knowledge of processes and understanding of impact on other work groups to assist others on more complex issues

k)    Continuously seek, propose and establish improvements in the processes handled

l)     Serve as back-up resource in the absence of other team members

m)  Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by team lead/manager
