Compliance Management 

? Lead the China Compliance Council with support from the Regional Legal and Compliance. 

? Proactively adapting Ortho’s compliance program for implementation in China under the direction of Regional Compliance Director.

? Executing on the compliance strategy, in order to drive adherence to China’s compliance requirements and to minimize Company compliance risk in its China operations.

? Proactively understanding evolving compliance requirements to pre-emptively address and compliance risks.

? Other assignments as may be requested from time to time by the Regional General Counsel’s and/or Regional or Global Compliance.

Compliance Business Partnering

? Providing day-to-day compliance and privacy support to business partners in China.

? Evaluate all commercial activities that require compliance pre-approval prior to the execution, payment and ensure process transparency, documentation completeness and archiving.

? Review commercial projects through thoughtful analysis of the project requested and provide appropriate feedback to business partner. 

? Partner internally within the China functional organizations and within the Global Legal and Compliance function.

Policy and Procedures

? Drafting, implementing and maintaining up-to-date compliance handbook, policies, procedures, guidance and other related documents to address needs of China business unit. 

? Ensure translations carried out efficiently for all global compliance and privacy policies as required.

? Advanced degree 

? Excellent academic record

? Minimum 5-7 years of compliance 

? Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of a compliance and anti-corruption program

? Excellent technical compliance skills, business acumen and analytical/strategic capabilities

? Proven ability to work with management on challenging, complex matters

? Proven ability to work with external groups/stakeholders in resolving matters consistent with key Company objectives

? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate easily to all levels within and across the organization, as well as with external stakeholders and other parties

? Excellent oral and written communications skills

? Excellent executive presence and work ethic

? Self-starter, ability to work under substantial pressure and without much direction, and quickly adapt to novel and challenging compliance matters

? Fluent in Mandarin and English
