Purpose 目的
To develop and implement the Marketing Plan for the ColArt Brands in cooperation with other ColArt functions including sales, manufacturing and distribution across Chinese domestic markets in order to achieve budgeted sales with profit targets in line with Business strategy.
Job Responsibilities ( Typical job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following) 工作职责(不仅限于以下职责)
? Creation and execution of annual marketing programme in a manner consistent with agreed brand and market objectives of company.
? Develop and manage Trade Marketing programmes and promotions in order to meet agreed targets on all product ranges in addition to monitoring the sales activities and effectiveness the sales team.
? Develop in conjunction with the S&M director as well as GM and implement the Brand Plan and programme of New Product Development to ensure optimum national and international appeal and effectiveness in execution within budgeted time and cost limits.
? Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments including the production of all necessary forecasting information on an agreed basis.
? Develop and refine product range strategies reflecting consumer trends and competitor activity to include pricing, packaging, new product development and both range and promotional development activities in line with the Group Strategy.
? Execution of advertising, publicity programme and trade communication programme (including Chinese dealer/consumer shows and demos) in a cost effective manner utilising resources most cost effectively.
? Enhance own performance by continuously developing own knowledge and skills to meet and exceed key standards.
? Plan and allocate work carried out by the department, setting clear work and project objectives and managing staff performance in running projects.
? Develop the team and individual’s performance by identifying development needs, planning and measuring their development against specific objectives.
? Effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels by: consulting with colleagues in a way, which encourages open and frank discussions; selecting the appropriate communication method to match the situation.
? With reference to the Education Training Programme developed in the US as a framework and customise an appropriate education training programme for China.
? Enhance the communication and recruitment of artists to our brands.

Qualification / Minimum Criteria (e.g. technical competence) 最低任职资格
Education Background:
Preferably a graduate with a marketing qualification but not essential depending upon breadth and quality of experience.
Experience:
Will have spent at least 8 years working experience in a professional consumer product marketing operation and 3 years of management experiences
Will have had sound experience in a prestigious, premium price brand environment for a western consumer brand, preferably operating internationally in a diverse marketplace.
Will have been exposed to a broad range of marketing activities from market research and promotional campaigns to trade shows, mainly focussed on ‘below the line’ marketing spend.
Skill requirement
Able to create, plan, lead and evaluate marketing campaigns. Experience in designing and co-ordinating printing of high quality literature.
IT literate particularly with regard to digital imaging.
Strong attention to detail. Able to foresee situations and scenarios that may occur and develop plans, strategies and alternative actions to cope.
Able to operate within a pressurised environment ensuring that decision making is based upon clear problem analysis and protects the company’s commercial and operational interests.
Able to build lasting and positive working relationships, both within the company and externally with distributors and other business partners.
Numerate, with strong negotiating skills. Able to arbitrate between sales, subsidiaries, distribution and production, building consensus and ‘buy in’ to decisions and strategies.
Commercially minded with a clear understanding of business implications for decisions and strategies.
Comfortable operating at all levels up to Board level, quickly establishing personal credibility. Comfortable in presenting information in both oral and written format.
Fluent in English (both in writing & speaking) & Mandarin
Knowledge for transfer of foreign product and new product market launch
Digital marketing experience will be plus
