New product development chemist or formulation designer is dedicated on technology application on new technologies such as waterborne, high solids, solvent free etc. for green products to generate technology platforms for all the strategic business units (SBUs). These positions will be closed to cooperate with global coating innovation centers in USA (CIC) and located in TEDA Global Innovation Center (TEDA GCIC) to support PPG Asia Pacific as well as global business.

工作职责：

- Plan, conduct experimental work and analyze experimental results effectively to develop platform technologies and products.

- Work closely with synthesis, formulation, processing and application to deliver results against aggressive timelines. 

- Build and maintain a network with commercial and technical teams in all SBUs and regions. Proactively communicate the progress of platform projects. Drive applied technologies to support growth PPG particular Asia Pacific. 

- Stay up-to-date to customer and market needs, mega trends, and competitive landscape. Use these understandings to propose new platform projects to support organic growth. Also provide continued support in defining, scoping and validating platform projects.

- 与树脂合成、配方、工艺和施工紧密合作，以在有限时间内达成开发成果。

- 建立和保持与各地区、各事业部商务团队和技术团队的紧密合作关系，积极沟通项目进展。

任职要求：

- PHD / Master Degree in the field of polymer, organic chemistry, or related major.

- Solid knowledge of organic and polymer chemistry. Familiar with polymer structure and performance characterized is prefer. 

- Experience using statistical tools such as JMP, Mat lab etc. to analyze data from various sources, is preferred.

- 博士/硕士学位，相关专业为有机化学、高分子、材料学等。

- 过硬的有机、高分子化学知识，熟悉高分子结构与性能。

- JMP, Mat lab等相关分析工具使用经验优先。
