The IT Support Engineer will provide effective IT assistance for colleagues both locally or remotely. The post holder is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Outlook 365 environment plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for CGP employees seeking technical assistance onsite, over the phone or email
• Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Follow up with colleagues to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
• Additional responsibilities as requested by the management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
• A good knowledge of databases and remote control
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Proficiency in English is a MUST
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
