PURPOSE OF POSITION/ROLE:   The trader is a key position responsible to develop business and oversee the operations for the nuts business in China.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Solicit and develop nuts business in China. Developing industry relations. Build ETG as a preferred partner in Nuts industry. 

2.       Collate market intelligence, competition activity, stock levels, buying pattern. Analysis and ability to prepare SND for price forecasting. 

3.       Create value by assisting senior trader decision making and book running.

4.       Nuts ingredients sales to distributors and bakery segment.

5.       Deal in the Tender and trade deals ( procurement and sales).

6.       Must have international trading experience. Above 1 year’s experience in the nuts/ relevant commodities industry is preferred.

6.       Willingness to travel.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: ？

1.       Diploma: MBA in sales/marketing/international business.

2.       Language Skills: English is a must, both written and oral.

Key attribute: Person should be an extrovert, can talk, socialise & have a pleasing personality. To build relationships the Chinese way is a must for this role.
