POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
The person will lead the area sales team to achieve the sales target and develop market presence in the designated area.
He or she will work with commercial functional support team such as Metal Processing and EPAT etc. to deploy BHY business model in the area and try to grasp more than 15% market share in local BHY market.
He or she will work with the engineering team and logistics team to serve local customers.
Nature and Scope
The role is the key to establish our BHY position in designated area through deploy the business model and selling process. Help the China team understand the local marketing competition and dynamics.
He or she will be fully responsible to the business development in the area. The target is to grasp above 15% market share in local BHY market.
Direct Reporting to the job holder are:
- About 4 Sales Engineers.
- One Inside Sales who locate in Tianjin office.
Key Stakeholders:
- Project Engineer
- Service Technician.
- Depot Dispatcher.
- Customer Service Operators.

JJT Area is an important market for BHY business. The annual revenue of BHY market is about USD10M~20M. The target market share of BHY business is about 15% of local market share by revenue.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following:
- Execute business rollout strategy in the designated area.
- Deploy the selling process and optimize the business model to be adapted to local competition.
- Directly lead the sales engineers and insides sales to support all marketing activities including direct marketing, trade shows and market communication
- Assist and support business managers with sales force training and development
- Manage strategic customers and partner relationships
- Maintain accountability for business results – monitor results vs plan and if necessary, take action to stay on course
- Implement offering enhancements by discipline– telemetry, auto-delivery, managed gas invoicing and other best practices or market differentiating tactics as they surface
- Coordinate with engineering, insides sales, logistics to conduct effective customer service process.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- College degree or University education (in business or technical area preferred) an engineering, finance, marketing and/or management discipline.
- At least two (2) years of progressive commercial experience in multinational companies.
- Experience in industrial gases or chemicals would be a strong plus
- Sales, commercial, and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership and communications skills, Chinese (Mandarin) and listening and presentation abilities.
- Strong result-oriented leader with a bias for action and ability of taking risk.
- Well developed influencing skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities. Concise, strong, mature, and flexible.
- Leadership capabilities – disciplined, process oriented and can build a positive team environment.
- Integrity – act with integrity and in accordance with company ethics. Ability to confront behavior not consistent with company values. Honors commitments.
