职位描述

Reports to the Factory Manager for Technical Departments.
Directs one Designer. the Electrical-, Wire-Cutting-, Grinding and other Processing Team (altogether 17 staff thereof 1 designer, 3 teamleaders in Engineering/Electrical, 1 clerk directly under him)

Professional Competence:
1. Wide technical and technology knowledge:
a. Curve design
b. Cutting, Drilling and Milling process and parameter
c. Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
d. Electrical detailed knowledge about standards, hardware and software
2. Skilled in 2D and 3D design (AutoCAD, Inventor)
3. Knowledge about the machinery processing technologies, feasibilities of tolerances, surfaces, designs and cost
4. Keep updated of new technologies from the market (visit fairs or join forum's to catch the relevant input for continuous improvements or new constructions)
5. Meet new requirements with new projects and bring new production methods into the company
6. Continuously provide ideas for setting-up standards, to make the tooling-/mould-parts more standardized and flexible in their application, to make the setting up more easier, to reduce the stock of spare parts, increase the life time and to reduce the investment cost

Methodical competence:
1. Set standards for our internal requirements (tolerances, materials and so on)
2. Create maintenance manuals to ensure a regular check of key figures and to touch the process in advance before break-down, to avoid bad part production and planning delay (choose the right components from the beginning on!)
3. Planning skills (create detailed follow up overviews, set mile stones) and controlling skills are necessary (project management experience)
4. Provide a kind of risk assessment to the company management: how risky is the investment in this construction and which options are available (fulfillment of standard productivity and expected process capability CPK mind. 1.67)


Social Competence:
1. Good communication skills and connection with all responsible departments (purchase, machinery, production, production planning, QC, product management and top management)
2. Organize and manage his department in an efficient and reliable way with all related leadership tasks.
3. Leadership not only in leading his own area, but by confidently and responsibly fulfilling the task of his department inside the business organization e.g. pushing forward the realization of the projects, clearly handing over responsibility to the project-members from other areas, fulfilling the company goals .
Always considering and balancing out quality, cost and time aspects when making decisions.
