Tasks and Duties

  

  

1. Promote safe and healthy working conditions and recommended measures to reduce or eliminate industrial incidents/health hazards and impact to the environment.

  

2.Conduct regular safety inspection in shop floor.

  

3.Conduct risks assessment to help all department eliminate any risks identified in the area of their responsibilities, Provide support to each department with professional EHS knowledge.

  

4. Coordinate/track all EHS finding closured and follow up all improvement and corrective actions.

  

5.Coordinate the and lead the incident investigation, root cause identification, and provide support on preventive action making and implementation.

  

6. Responsible for waste management and contractor EHS performance management.

  

7.Design, establish and maintain EHS training system to ensure all staff and visitors are trained with proper EHS awareness in the relevant areas of their job and/ or in the plant.

  

8.Maintain EHS data and report.

  

9. Implement the 6S activities in plant.

  

10. Liaise with relevant authorities on EHS matters, such as EPB, safety bureau, Hygiene Bureau and Fire department.

  

  

Job duties

  

  

1. Safety: Secure the safety of all staffs, visitors, and company properties in the plant.

  

2. EHS-Budget: Prepare and manage the EHS budget.        

  

3. EHS-Training: Provide the training for all staff, visitors and contractors work in the plant. Enhance EHS awareness.            

  

4.EHS-Inspection: Perform the daily EHS inspection in the shop floor to avoid incidents and health hazard and impact to the environment.

  

  

Management duties

  

  

1.Establish and maintain the EHS management system which is compliant with the regulations of China, local government, and group EHS guidelines.

  

2.Responsible for waste management and contractor EHS performance management.

  

3.Manage the EHS training system to ensure all staff and visitors are trained with proper EHS awareness in the relevant areas of their job and/ or in the plant.

  

4.Maintain EHS data and prepare the EHS report according to the government and group requirement.

  

5.Apply and execute CIP projects.

  

  

Competency rules

  

  

1.College degree in EHS, Science and Engineering is required.

  

2.Minimum 5 years EHS management experiences in manufacturing industry with mass production.

  

3.Familiar with EHS laws and regulations, working experience linked to EHS requirement，including national law, local regulation and related industry criteria.

  

4.Be able to do evaluate accurately a job situation, analyze it on safety purpose, propose and put in place improvements on safety requirement.

  

5.Clear understanding of incident root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action.

  

6.Knowledge on EHS management systems like, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 or local working safety standard system etc.

  

7.Excellent communication skill and fluent English in both oral and written.

  

8. Good skill in office software (Word/Excel/ PPT )

  

9.High sense of responsibility and be able to work under pressure.
