The Director Application Support is responsible for managing the team of application and technical support engineers as well as developing business strategies to achieve agreed targets. A focus is put on developing and implementing a strategy to commercialize technical services.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of the entire application and support team
• Provide satisfactory and value added services to our customers to enhance and maintain the professional image of our company
• Establish and maintain liaison with other departments within the Lenze Group (local and HQ) to meet customer and the partner's requirements
• Create and implement business strategies to commercialize technical services
• Take a leading role in application projects and support the sales team on creating technical solutions for special applications
• Offer technical training for customers and internal employees

Profile:

• University degree in automation engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years experience in automation engineering or machinery industry
• Knowledge in servo and motion control technology.
• Commercial sense and service sales experience
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop people
• Ability to set and achieve challenging goals
• Fluent in written and oral English
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
