Dalian Operations Manager – Management Trainee
LOCATION: Dalian, China
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
COMPANY is a fast-growing, international chemical management solutions provider servicing Fortune 500 customers within the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and chemical manufacturing industries. Accountability: Initially this position will report to the Facility Manager (American). After the training is complete this person will replace the facility manager. Then the position will report to the AP Managing Director (American)

Essential Requirements of the Job:

? Must have a 4-year college degree
? 4 years of direct management experience, preferably in a warehouse/logistics environment.
? Experience in logistics and warehouse management required.
? Must have good customer service customer satisfaction experience.

RESPONSIBILITY
1. Coordinate with CLIENT to meet their receiving, storage, and delivery requirements.
2. Responsible for operating a safe warehouse, in compliance with COMPANY show case inspection guidelines; and all regulatory agencies.
3. Ensure that all employees receive instruction in weekly safety meetings on safety issues; how to improve service and use of SOP’s in ensuring consistently effective performance.
4. Responsible for assigning responsibilities to staff in such a way that they are empowered to accomplish tasks with minimal day-to-day requirements.
5. Ensure that the highest standards, collaboration, of equipment maintenance and safety are consistently.
6. Ensure prompt and accurate flow of paperwork from warehouse and office to provide accurate invoicing, payroll, and inventory records.
7. Perform semi-annual performance evaluations of all staff in a constructive and mentoring manner.
8. Hire, train, support, empower, and mentor employees of the highest caliber available. Provide discipline where necessary in a fair, consistent manner in compliance with PRC Employment Laws.
9. Promote and insist on positive attitudes among all employees where respect is consistently shown to everyone with whom we deal.
10. Drive a culture of safety with zero safety incidents.
11. Must have working knowledge of all employment practices in PRC
12. Fluent English
13. Ability to communicate with staff in Chinese (Mandarin)
14. Experience managing teams in China
15. Willing to locate in Dalian, China
