Tasks

• You drive our current processes to a highly professional steering desk across China and Asia to support the success of our supply chain

• You analyze and develop our volume forecasting, thus enabling an effective allocation and routing management 

• You assess operational performance and framework contracts with our partners, continuously tracking allocations and our partner service level KPIs 

• You identify the biggest operational roadblocks for our growth and adopt optimization opportunities while ensuring consistently high operational quality

• You manage cross divisional stakeholders at Forto, monitoring account performance and providing business insights to drive sustainable processes for our global logistics network

• You understand the business capabilities and future opportunities with our partners and of the sea freight industry and support to bring a data-driven approach to all of our related initiatives

• You report directly to the sea freight manager, closely aligning with our Sea Freight Team in Germany, and therefore have close collaboration with international coworkers

Profile

• 1-2 years' supply chain experience 
•  bachelor degree and above

• You have an in-depth understanding of the operational process of sea freight and have a drive to continuously improve on the status-quo

• You’re data-driven, can effortlessly bring information from different sources into a common context and are keen to analyze the mechanics of the business

• You are comfortable working in a flexible work environment  and adopt to new challenges quickly

• You have excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills

• You have an outstanding work ethic and thrive under pressure

• You have either an outstanding academic record in business administration, economics, or a related field with high motivation to dive into the logistics mindset or have previous related work experience and are strongly tech- and data-oriented

• You are fluent in Mandarin and English, German is a plus
