• Provide general legal support services on procurement, online distribution sales channel and a JV while directly sells to consumers online, all factories in China (except employment issues) and other functions (e.g. customer satisfaction, innovation, EHS, R&D etc.)
• As the local privacy contact, to align with group privacy officer on privacy issue training to local employees and privacy assessment program.
• Study, design and implement B2C compliance programs and coordinate with group compliance team to design and implement China data security compliance program.
• Be flexible in work scope and provide legal support on projects to meet business needs.

What you’ll need…

• Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized PRC law school with qualification to practice law in China. An oversea law degree from a recognized foreign law school such as an LLM or LLB would be a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years’of professional experience in a multinational in-house legal department plus in a law firm, with substantial China exposure in ecommerce, data security, compliance and commercial laws in China. 
• Excellent English and Chinese language skills, both verbal and written. 
• Be able to work independently, proactively and in a self-directed manner.
• Good communication skill and a team player.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously. 
• Ability to work under pressure and to cope with stress, and maintain a professional, pleasant and cooperative temperament with business partners.
• Excellent research, negotiation and analytical skills. 
• Strong understanding of business needs. Think “out-of-the-box” and approach problems holistically to reach practical solutions
