职位描述
1. Brief Description
Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of Branding, Marketing and Communication initiatives and plans for both Liner and Logistics businesses across the North Asia region.
Leading the North Asia Marketing team in planning and delivering a broad range of marketing and communications support to all businesses in the North Asia region, with a specific focus on China. This includes marketing communications, customer insights research, media engagement, public relations, corporate social responsibility and employee communications.
Serving as the regional touch point for Corporate Communications and Global Marketing, assisting in rolling out corporate initiatives in North Asia.
2. Key Result Areas
Marketing and communications programs achieve their pre-defined objectives and North Asia's marketing resources and budget are effectively managed against region's business and commercial priorities.
Global merchandising sourcing, production and fulfillment center successfully delivering savings on landed costs basis to the organization at competitive delivery times without compromising production quality.
Strategic messaging and communications position the Group's brands positively in the region, to both external and internal audiences.
3. Key Accountabilities/Duties
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide thought leadership to the regional management and the commercial teams on branding, marketing and communication matters.
Lead the development and implementation of effective and relevant regional marketing and communication strategies and programs to achieve business objectives such as awareness generation, changing perception, public image enhancement, strengthening positioning and messages to specific internal or external audiences, new customer acquisition, customer engagement, etc.
Understand customer perceptions of the Group's brands and services within the region against competition and gather insights on customers' dynamically changing needs, translating them into meaningful and relevant value propositions that position our brands and services positively in the market.
Supervise and manage the creation, designing and updating of generic customer presentations, web content, advisories, marketing collaterals, white papers, case studies and sales support materials to equip commercial teams with relevant, professional and effective sales tools in a timely fashion.
Effectively manage a pool of competent and reliable external vendors such as research agencies, advertising agencies, graphic design agencies, digital marketing agencies, media agencies, event agencies, translators, production houses, printers, etc. to deliver professionally, on time, on budget and meeting project objectives.
Identify, analyze and recommend course of action with, opportunities in media advertising, media interview, event sponsorships and others, making sound decisions based on inputs from relevant stakeholders where necessary.
Localize websites, advertising, collaterals, press release and other communication materials as required, while maintaining overall consistency with global brand image, positioning and messaging.
Perform the role of North Asia region's guardian for all brands under the NOL Group, ensuring that all deliverables meet brand and corporate identity standards.
Establish and run the global merchandising sourcing, production and fulfillment center out of China.
Own the relationship with media, act as the regional contact for media enquiries, build media database, pitch media interviews, develop content and support media engagement efforts across the region.
Ensure effective employee communications within the region, actively seeking out interesting stories within the region and regularly publishing them over the Group's intranet (the Helm).
Participate in global marketing and communications planning and discussions on the region's behalf.
Any other responsibilities and projects as assigned by Director, Global Marketing.

5. Incumbent specification
Education: Business degree from accredited university, ideally with a specialization in Marketing or Mass Communications.
Experience: Minimum 7 years working experience, with at least 5 years in services marketing, brand building and/or communication roles, primarily in a B2B environment. Must have managerial experience and have worked for multinationals. Prior experience in the transportation and/or logistics industry would be an advantage.
Skill Sets:
Excellent verbal communication skills, especially the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and simply
Ability to write in an interesting and persuasive style for different audiences
High standard of spoken and written English and Mandarin
Well-versed in B2B marketing approaches and tactics
