As a developer in HP Global IT, you will work with onshore development located in US. You may also need to provide support to the existing applications.
Activities will include but not limited to:
New Original Development and Sustaining of the Platform Manageability Infrastructure in our Massively Parallel Processor Database Server Systems called NeoView and SeaQuest.
The system is Linux based and incorporates a number of Clusters and Cloud based technologies.
You will be in DICP (Dynamic Installation and Configuration Provisioning) Team as a Linux System Administrator to do upgrade works, but not limited on that. And this job requires frequent communication with US team through different communication channel.
Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or above
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and communication skills. (will interviewed by US team)
3-5 years of experience in Linux/Unix
Fluent usage of Linux
Familiar with shell/Perl scripts is a plus
Good at Linux system upgrade, package installation, especially Redhat Enterprise
Familiar with Linux storage management
Familiar Linux Cluster management, service managements
Ability to create and update functional specifications and design specifications. Demonstrated experience producing specifications required (in the English Language).
10. Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction, and multi-tasking.
