About the role

As a System Design Center Manager at Future Electronics, oversees a team of system design in one or multiple branches with the responsibility of managing day to day activities as well as results. He/She is responsible for the portion of sales that is generated with technical selling, promotion and support.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

• Continually increase the portion of sales that is generated by way of technical selling, promotion and support.
• Work together with Future Sales and Marketing Managers to help set the demand creation direction and strategies in the region.
• Help manage the relationships with Suppliers and Customers in the region.
• Continually increase the technical competence of the TSM and sales teams in the region.

What you’ll need (qualifications)

• Minimum requirements: Bachelor of Science, Electronic Engineering.
• Technical understanding of semiconductors with preferably strong experience in Future’s current supplier’s products.
• At least 3 - 5yrs managing a system design team.
• Possesses strong Communication and Presentation Skills, including the ability to present information and ideas in a confident fashion to the customer’s engineers and technical managers.
• Displays good Commercial Awareness and Understanding of the business impact on how designs affect customers' profitability.
• Able to commit to response times, i.e. having a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in allocating own resources.
• Able to prepare budgetary proposals and quotations.
• Able to select and specify devices for designs.
• Able to make decisions on how to optimize limited company resources. Example, deciding which customers to lend evaluation tools and demonstration equipment.
• Lead and monitor team project status, able to advise and drive project progress.
• Able to manage a team to achieve a set goal within time frames.
• Willing to escalate issues when they are beyond the ’s area of influence, both internally and externally.
