Job Description
SQA - Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Assure the quality and performance of suppliers in CHN by assessments
Manufacturing Support:
- Ensuring that suppliers are on agreed production schedule
- Quality control of welding, machining and painting.
Assembly Supervisor:
- Supervise/Assemble sub-assembly and final Assembly (Mech./Elect.) of Hydraulic Presses.
- Supervise whilst a sub-contractor installs Presses and Automation Equipment at Customer Site
- Contact Person towards the customer during the installations
Required Professional Skills
- Preferably University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, however a Bachelor could be sufficient pending on work experience.
- Quality Control and Assessments Experience
- Solid work experience of production in the metal processing industry
- Knowledge in Machining, Welding and Surface Treatment
- Understanding of technical drawings is required
- Management/Supervising/Project Coordinating Experience
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must
Required Personal Skills
- Independent, pro-active and good communication/presentation skills
- At least 2 years of car driving license and is willing to travel frequently
- Analytical and Statistical analysis ability
Definition - Supplier Quality Assurance Function: "Responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting problems due quality and production at a supplier location. To perform assessments and audits as well as implement new strategies."
