PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide engineering technical support for NOV DH sales, operations and PLE groups whilst expanding Downhole Tools knowledge with a primary specialization in Drilling Tools.

Obtain, recognize and demonstrate relevant Core Competencies required for promotion to DSE2.

Basic field operations of drilling tools product line, with supervision.

Through constant customer contact maintain accurate monitoring of activity, applications and competition.

Provide basic engineering support on tool applications, to ensure the successful utilization and operation of the given tool or product.

Capture tool performance data from ongoing jobs for the data base entry and prepare present customer run reports and run summaries.

Provide field analysis for failed tool investigation and coordinate with Service Quality Group to provide applicable incident report.

Provide open communication between Drilling Solutions and Product Line engineering.

Support field testing of new products and design improvements.

Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability.

Assist with the implementation of procedures, best practices following knowledge management processes.

Service center technical support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Positions will typically require travel

Working hours to be identified by manager

Non-standard work hours, 24/7 contact/availability expectations for rig/operational support

Comply with Global and Local QHSE policies.

Behave in a professional and ethical manner in line with NOV corporate policies

Education and Experience

-4 Year Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Related Technical Degree

-0-3 Years Relevant Oilfield Experience
