The HTS Risk & Administration Function consists of an Head of Function (Chief Risk & Administration Officer - CRAO) supported by three principle sub-functions: HTS Business Risk Control Management (BRCM), HTS Operational Support & Development and HTS Quality.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of HTS Operational Support and Development Officer.


In this role, you will:


·HTS Operational Support & Development is mainly responsible to:

·Implement consistent governance and organizational support across HBCN HTS

·Provide the HBCN COO with information & analysis on the execution against the goals and strategy,

·Supports consistent analysis, planning, reporting and monitoring activity across HTS

·Provide the HBCN COO with effective administrative support particularly in relation to ad-hoc requests.

·Coordinating HTS Saving Programme as Country Representative


The primary responsibility of this role is to support the HTS Operational Support & Development function to achieve the above objectives. Detailed task as below:

·Proactively support facilitating HTS SSO/ non-SSO cost allocation transparency communication with businesses by engaging FIN/HTS functions together

·Lead the help desk function to respond to queries and create/maintain the service level standard and FAQ.

·Assist in tracking the Costs / FTE through Dashboard and FIN MI by HTS Functions on a monthly basis;

·Assist in annual ROP process by analyzing the baseline and business strategy, reviewing the material impacts and co-work with local FIN/HTS Function to align HTS planning approach effectively to develop HTS ROP for China;

·Responsible of maintain HTS transaction volume database on monthly basis under collaboration with SD

·Assist in business analysis of the effectiveness of the HTS spendings by benchmarking HTS charges components across different business functions and to identify potential savings areas;

·Assist in promoting best practices sharing and collaboration within HTS Functions for sustainable saves.

·Support the business requirements from the Region in relation to the Group Systems – GPDM.

·Assist to develop MI of performance measurements / benchmarking for HTS functions to improve productivity, proactively engaging HTS function to identify challenges, opportunities and solutions for improvement.

·Identify improvements to the existing process (e.g. STP, streamlining) by leveraging on Group MI / tools.


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:


·University graduate (recognized by the state) in Finance / Economic major (recognized by the state) is preferred;

·More than 2 years of banking or financial sector-related experience and sound understanding of banking business fundamentals is a must; working experience in auditing/consulting first is preferred.

·Strong communication / interpersonal skill;

·Strong analytical / strategic thinking skill;

·Banking Operation knowledge is a plus;

·Advanced Excel/Powerpoint Skill is a must;

·Proficient in both Chinese and English;

·Ability to work independently and under pressure;
