The award winning Business intelligence team is a part of IT@DNV and serves both internal and external customers globally through three locations (Norway, Poland and China). Shanghai Business Intelligence team is mainly responsible for design and development of BI solutions.

Job Descriptions:
- Close co-operation with business domain responsible in Norway to understand business needs
- Close co-operation with BI architects in Norway
- Independently design and develop Cognos FM models, packages and reports
- Testing of Cognos solutions
- Write system specifications and other documents according to the best practices
- Close co-operation with Operation & Support team
- Close co-operation with DWH developers
- Assist to bug fix/QA as needed
- Actively participate in BI projects
- Proactively identify opportunities or obstacles concerning performance & data quality
- Occasional travelling to Norway is required
- Flexible to adjust working hours in order to have more overlapping time with team members in Norway & Poland

Personal Qualifications:
- A service oriented and proactive attitude

- Proficiency in English - written and oral
- Excellent communication and team working skills

Qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor-degree or equivalent/higher)
- 3+ years working experience in BI domain
- Excellent Cognos Framework Designer and Report Studio skills
- Good Knowledge of Data warehouse modeling
- Good SQL programming skills
- Knowledge of ETL tools is a plus (Informatica PowerCenter, Data stage, etc...)
- Experience of working in an international team is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM is a plus
