Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

Participate in LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles Work with global system team, AME and local related team to keep product at same page as global Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI’s and for process improvements Work with export project team for export orders Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed Lead sample built and pilot-run for new product.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering2+year experience industrialization or process in industrial companyPracticed in office software, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid-work are preferredLean/Six Sigma training is preferredAbility to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutionsStrong organizational skillsAbility to handle diverse activities simultaneouslyAbility to work in a matrix organization Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong oral and written bilingual communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively and contribute to team projectsStrong project and team leadership
