Role Summary/Purpose

Hardware design engineer for locomotive, off-highway vehicle control system

Essential Responsibilities

1. Own the whole life cycle of the electronics/electric component of locomotive and mining truck[/u] product line in China. Support NPI, requisition, reliability, sustaining, productivity, etc;[/u] 2. Work with system team to clarify customer requirement, design schematic of control [/u] cards and panels for locomotive and mining truck, analyze and simulate the circuit; pass design review 3. Design the I/O cards with MCU/CPLD/FPGA & Analog/Digitial conversion[/u] 4. Design the communication cards with CAN/Ethernet technology[/u] 5. Work closely with global team, participate in tele conference once a week to line up the[/u] development progress 6. Provide technical support to commercial team/application team for product promotion. 7. Follow the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policy during working

Qualifications/Requirements

1. BSEE or MSEE [/u] 2. At least 3 years hands-on experience in electronics desgin such as MCU, CPLD & Analog/Digital circuit 3. At least 3 years hands-on experience in CAN & Ethernet circuit 4. Strong technical problem solving skills (DFSS and DMAIC is a plus). 5. Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese;

Desired Characteristics

1. Familiar with power supply design is a big plus 2. Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience is a big plus 3. Knowledge on Six Sigma or Reliability is a big plus
