Role Summary/Purpose

To work on tester plan/strategy/implement for manufactory and design verification, develop test stations and fixtures independently or cooperate with manufactory, support manufactory for tester issue, root cause analysis, first part qualification, etc.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop test plan, test strategy and test specifications; Generate estimates of the time and resources required for implementation and testing; Create the BOM and equipement list of tester. Work closely with the design engineer, supply chain, production line for testing development and support. Perform prototype bringup, debugging and testing activity. Work closely with the hardware team to develop bench tester for design validation. Work closely with the software team to develop drivers and applications for test. Generate internal and customer documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

MS/BS (Engineering) in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/ Power Systems.. Testing & Scripting knowledge of GUI Test Automation tools like LabView, strong hands on experience Familiar with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, P/S, signal generator etc. Strong Multi-Tasking and proactive and open approach to conflict resolution Good analytical and learning skills Good general knowledge of analog and digital electronics and software development techniques 3 year experience LabView or NI programming. Familiarity with C/C++/C#/VB language software development, Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Knowledgable with fxiture design, basic knowledge on mechanical design. Knowledgable with manfucatory production process

Desired Characteristics

5 years experience in C/C++/Labview programming. 3 years experience tester development Familiarity with TCP/IP, RS232, CANBUS, etc. communication protocol. Good general knowledge of RF. Knowledgable with six-sigma, GRR. Knowledge of PC operating system inlcude Linix, windows,Qnx. 1 year circuit board desgin and design verification experience. Demonstrates proficiency in generating and simulating Verilog implementations of programmable logic.
