Job description
The CTS drives IBM revenue and helps maintain client satisfaction by :
- Acting as a platform technical account manager role to accounts
- Acting as a technical specialist to solve the technical problems from accounts
- Individuals who are part of support typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical customer situations. The employee focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness.
- Help clients & sales team identify/Qualify opportunities
- Assuring the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
- Removing technical inhibitors to the sale of IBM products, solutions and services
- Driving proper planning and ensuring client readiness as well as making smooth hand-offs to service providers to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
- Apply Knowledge of IBM Infrastructure & System x Products & Solutions Portfolio;
- Apply Knowledge on differentiation and competitive advantage of system x products;
- Good knowledge in x86 hardware architecture and storage ;
- Good technical skills in Linux, windows operating system and networking;
- Good problem determination skill in Linux, networking and Storage;
- Account management skill will be preferred;
- Solution skill in Boot From SAN, BOFM(Blade Open Fabric Manager) and SCE(Smart Cloud Entry) etc will be preferred.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in relevant working experience
English: Intermediate
