Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Tianjin

Reports To: Electrical & Automation Leader

Summary

Software engineer is responsible to make software design for insulated glass production lines (customer projects). Possibly visit customer for special and case by case needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Development and maintenance of Automation control system and Human Machine Interface running on a windows environment.

· Support localization to reduce cost by check performance parameter for local component and update drawings for change.

· Support production and quality improvement by solve issues according to the feedback from manufacture and installation.

· Customer projects design

· Establish customer project part lists (BOMs) in the ERP system

· Develops the designing practices together with Glaston global TPM.

Skills

l At least 8 years experience of Automation software and HMI.

l Expert knowledge of PC application with C/C++ and Visual Basic 6.

l Knowledge of modern developing methods and rules to secure software quality.

l Knowledge of related international designing standards AISI, DIN, ISO. Specially transfer to GB standard.

l Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.

l Cooperate with Glaston global teams.

Qualifications

l Master/bachelor degree in electrical design / computer science.

Others

l No subordinate, work in office, business travel requested.
