DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-To ensure proper management of all tax compliance work related to all legal entities in China, including day-to-day transactions, timely communicate with the Tax Manager for any tax issues noticed

-To collaborate with Shared Services Centre and brand finance to harmonize the tax part in whole process and streamline the procedures

-To closely monitor the tax policy changes and implements the impact to the organization

-To ensure timely application for the applicable tax incentives a finance subsidy

-To assist in dealing with internal audit, external audit on the tax part and tax audit/assessment by the tax authority

-To assist Tax Manager in conducting research and analysis regarding China operations' tax projects

-To assist in maintaining and managing tax agency outside of Shanghai

-To communicate and liaise with the Tax Officials in-charge and other government officials and keep smooth relationship with them

-To collaborate with Legal to ensure Retail and other business expansion models in the various cities

-To participate in ad-hoc projects where required

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor Degree holder majoring in Tax, Accounting or Finance or other related disciplines with strong knowledge in tax laws and practices

-At least 6 years experience in corporate tax compliance area either in MNCs or professional tax/accounting firms.

-Experience in luxury retail or FMCG is highly preferred

-Familiar with tax filing related systems and standard business software applications

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills, detail-oriented and a self-starter who is able to work under pressure and within tight timeframe

-Excellent communication skills with good command of both English and Putonghua

-Occasional travel within PRC and to other international countries may be required
