Job Description
Brand Awareness
1.Responsible for developing long & short terms marketing strategy and executing programs including ATL, BTL, online, product promotions and special events to enhance the brand awareness and desirability.
2. Ensure brand and marketing strategies are in line with the global strategy and objectives.
3. Set China Brand KPI and ensure brand health base on overall business growth and targets.
4. Plan and execute the marketing strategy for China ensuring collaboration with Paris and HK marketing colleagues, but fine-tuned to suit the China market needs.
5. Establish industry alliances with like brands and media partners matching our brand positioning.
6. Organize and attend events, exhibitions and trade events to reinforce S.T. DUPONT brand positioning in accordance with the Brand Strategy.
7. May attend the novelties meeting with HQ to be further coached on our brand's design and products' innovation and deliver the knowledge to other departments.
Digital
1. Develop digital strategy based on global and regional brand requirement and adapt with local relevance and help support to achieve China business goals.
2. Initiate and oversee the contacting of relevant consumers ‘communities and portals in order to create S.T. DUPONT brand presence in these places.
3. Offering support to we chat / Webs, TMALL etc. brand center and all local social platforms.
PR & Advertising/Event
1. Develop and implement communication & PR strategy throughout China.
2. Maintain and build on strong relationships with the leading lifestyle and fashion media.
3. Seek out co-op opportunities with third-party from our collections' themes.
4. Learn most updated Chinese law against any copyright and legal concerns on media usage. Instruct subordinate to strictly follow accordingly and inform relevant departments.
5. Get Paris' approval on any GWP designs and make adjustments accordingly.
6. Select, brief PR/media agencies with overall brand approach and KPI as well as tactical and branding requirements.
7. Brand positioning, media alliances & advertising objectives in line with guidelines from Paris.
CRM
1. Based on the business needs and goals to develop short/ long term CRM strategy & KPI, develop related CRM programs to support the strategy and achieve the goal.
2. Manage loyalty program and CRM lifecycle campaign to recruit, retain and keep loyalty. Develop, execute, and continuously optimize member campaigns such as reactivating lapsed members, bonus point promotions, lucky draws, offline activations, etc.
3. Plan & manage Omni-channel communication campaign (Store / EC/TMALL/ JD/ We Chat).
4. Prepare regular and ad hoc consumer insights reports for internal stakeholders across the marketing, sales and merchandise departments to feed into overall business insights and planning.
Activations
1. Develop full year plan’s ensure successful and flawless execution of event settings and program Ensure that the Brand Center activation program comes to life each season in line with the product and brand stories – includes in-store communication, events, etc.
2. Organize and host events both in- and out-of store.
3. Evaluate post-event result. Provide insights on competitors activities and learning’s,
Conduct monthly outpost review of key competitors, highlight key points to learn.
4. Achieved ROI set by management.
Marketing Execution and Visual Merchandising Display
1. Bring out event proposal in advance for Paris' approval. Meet the needs and requests from Paris accordingly.
2. Execute Promotional Calendar – linking all celebrations and relevant timeliness for marketing collateral in line with overall business objectives.
3. Ensure that all products and new collections are communicated at the right time, at the right place and to the right people across all channels.
4. Under the Paris and HK guide, create local VM Display initiatives and ensure the execution consistent and effective and being commercial to China and down to different city tiers and store level.
5. Scheduled meetings with key medias/ publishers / KOL to deliver updated brand images, knowledge’s and products info. Strive for brand exposure.
6. Full P&L accountability for the marketing budget and optimize the use of resources at all times.
7. Develop campaigns and programs that leverage the increasingly large digital marketing options, along with, customer reference, public relations and websites- to enhance and expand brand awareness, revenue generation and the employee and customer experience across internal and external audiences.
Leadership & Management
1. Prepare and update DME/ VM and Digital budget according to Paris marketing plan, OP and MD' opinions.
2. Monitor botches it monthly and updates.
3. Plan seasonal goals and targets. Monitor achievement.
4. Weekly department meeting to discuss operational concerns regarding marketing issue.
5. Monthly meeting with operational Department updates on Retails store department stores' news and co-op opportunity. Make strategy plans according to each stores' condition.
6. Preparation for monthly meeting with Paris.
7. Lead, inspired, coached the team with optimism. Provide inputs on market experiences, required skills. Elevate achievement through clear communication.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above.
2. At least 15 years' marketing experience with 8 years' team management experience.
3. Experience in digital marketing, integrated campaign, branding and communication.
4. Good command of English writing and communication.
5. A passionate and high-energy leader, who possesses diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to positively influence others.
6. Hands-on team leadership skill in motivating and developing individuals and teams.
7. Strong organizational skill with the ability to manage both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
8.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills in developing, implementing, and assessing key metrics and process indicators for effective team and materials program management.
9. Proactive and with entrepreneurial mindset.
10. Good team player.
