POSITION: SHIPPING MANAGER
LOCATION: SHANGHAI / SONGJIANG
Description:
Manage and coordinate a team of Customer service operators to deliver Pick & Pack services to major international accounts. Manage the communication with local vendors, local sub-contractors and the end-customer to deliver best-in-class logistics services. Ensure impeccable management of data.
Requirements:
The position requires:

- At least a bachelor degree
- A very good command of English
- At least 8 year experience in the shipping industry in a managerial position
- Strong expertise in export customs and trade rules
- Leadership skills coupled with strong exposure to people management
- Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative
- Friendly, service-minded,
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in an integrated team
- Customer minded and great team player
- Motivated by a burning desire to help people
- Positive, responsive, dependable, well-organized
- Clear sense of logic and ability to make sense out of chaos

Core Competencies

. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Chinese
. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
. Ability to interact with different levels of people and convince people
. Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
. Ability to plan and organize workload to others
. Strong ethics with impeccable integrity
. Conversant with main MS software applications


Experience:
Experience in a similar position a pre-requisite.
