Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals actively participating in Amazon's international expansion goals. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong Quality, Operations, and Logistics experience to join us as a Quality Assurance Analyst for China. The qualified candidate is an expert in quality assurance obsessed with quality improvement and highly committed to raise the quality standards. The candidate has a passion to use audit methodologies to drive improvement in process and product to build superior customer experience and lower cost structure.
Key Roles and Responsibility:
1. Execute on quality assurance standards and measures, to deliver high quality audit solution, and to apply appropriate methodologies and QA best practices to discover defects and non-compliances early to prevent them from happening in the first place.
2. Work with stakeholder teams in process/product discussions, retrospective reviews, root causing, solutions proposing, and improvements based on the results of the analysis to establish a quality bar.
3. Understand the processes to discover opportunity in reducing defects and non-compliances, and driving continuous improvement.
4. Execute control effectively to ensure the organization operating in a controlled cost structure and exceling Seller’s expectations.
5. Use a combination of data analysis, benchmarking, and audits to make continuous improvement for the quality program.
6. Create regular reports and dashboards to AGL Leadership on operations and program progress.
7. Continually evaluate solutions not only for quality and business impact, but scalability.
8. Dive deep in the details, as well as identify big picture trends and make recommendations based on the data.
9. Provide training to the teams on the process and methodologies.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3 years’ successful experience in quality assurance, ACES, Six Sigma, Lean, auditing, risk management or process improvement.
3. Good understanding of cross border logistics processes.
4. Problem solver - Deliver solutions to complex problems through in-depth data analysis, using methodical approach such as DMAIC along with innovation and judgment.
5. Solid understanding and experience with practical applications of Lean Six Sigma tools and SQL.
6. Technical knowledge of conducting process audits and formulating plans to drive improvements.
7. Must be self-motivated/self-directed, able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
8. Strong Ownership, Bias for Actions, and Insist on Highest Standards in delivering audit solutions.
9. Open-minded and able to deal with ambiguities, conflicting priorities and multi-cultural environment.
10. Native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English. Strong communication in both verbal and writing. Able to influence and communicate with stakeholders to meet with quality and business goal.
1. Advanced degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.
2. Certified in Quality, Six Sigma, Lean.
3. Experience in implementing QMS.
