Responsibilities:

  

• Responsible for leading and managing the electronic l engineering team of the Tianjin R&D Center of BU HEV, including daily disciplinary management, process, method and tool

• Responsible product scope: electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid vehicle motor drive systems, including motors, inverters and transmission device; 48V light to medium hybrid P0/P2/P4 motor drive system; high and low voltage DC/DC converters; high voltage battery management system and 48V battery system

• Responsible for leading and managing electronic engineering activities in the product development process, including electronic HW requirements assessment, electronic HW system architecture, module circuit design, electronic HW system integration, electronic circuit testing, etc., ensuring delivery on quality and on time

• Responsible for the budget and control of the annual and individual project development costs of the electronic engineering team

• Responsible for competence building-up and CIP of the electronic engineering team to fulfill the business needs

          

 

  

Requirements:

  

• Bachelor’s degree or above, electrical and electronics, automation, computer technology or the other related

• 8 years of experience in electronic hardware development of electronic controllers, including more than 3 years of leadership and management experience in the automotive industry R&D teams

• Strong technical communication skills, fluent in oral English, and skill in other languages such as German, Japanese, Korean and other languages etc. is a plus

• Familiar with auto parts product development approval system and product development project management process

• Familiar with electronic controller hardware requirements engineering, design, simulation, debugging and experimental verification

• Familiar with DFSS methodology and tooling: QFD, DoE and FMEA, etc.

• Experience in product application of two or more MCUs; experience in standard circuits development: such as sampling circuit, filter circuit and motor or solenoid driving circuit

• Familiar with the process of hardware requirements engineering, able to check and release hardware design specifications and hardware development test specifications based on system component specifications

• Ability to review PCBA designs, including electronic component selection and circuit design

• Familiar with the simulation of signals and electrical loads of electronic hardware circuits, able to review electronic circuit simulation results

• Familiar with the testing process of electronic hardware circuits, able to review test and results analysis report

• Familiar with EMC, ESD and other electrical load theory, and able to guide electronic circuit optimization design for EMC, ESD and thermal management requirements

• Ability to review PCBA DFM analysis results and production introduction documentation (BOM, drawings, production specifications and production test specifications, etc.)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good leadership and team management skills
