Responsibilities:

  

• Responsible product scope: electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid vehicle motor drive systems, including motors, inverters and transmission device; 48V light to medium hybrid P0/P2/P4 motor drive system; high and low voltage DC/DC converters; high voltage battery management system and 48V battery system

• Responsible for mechanical requirement engineering, Mechanical system architecture, mechanical component design, mechanical system integration, mechanical measurement and testing during product development, ensuring delivery on quality and on time

• Responsible for creating mechanical BOM, drawings, specifications and the preparation of experimental and verification reports, and interpretation to internal and external related stakeholders

      

Requirements:

  

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, material engineering, vehicle engineering or other related majors

• 3 years of working experience in mechanical structural components and functional components design

• Possessing a certain technical communication ability, fluent in spoken English, and other languages of German, Japanese, Korean etc. are a plus

• Familiar with auto parts product development approval system and product development project management process

• Familiar with mechanical product requirements engineering, structural design, mechanical statics and dynamics simulation, mechanical optimization design, mechanical reliability design and mechanical testing

• Familiar with DFSS methodology and tooling: VOC, QFD, DoE and FMEA etc.

• Experience in development of products similar to those in responsible product scope is plus

• Skilled in using GD&T, proficient in dimensional chain tolerance calculation

• Experience in the application of two or more engineering materials (metals and engineering plastics), familiar with their manufacturing and processing processes

• Possessing ability to provide packaging and interface design capabilities for products in the upper systems, and product modules’ structural layout

• Skilled in using one or more 3D/2D mechanical design software (Pro/E, Catia, UG, etc.), with good skills in creating engineering drawings

•  Familiar with mechanical FEA principle, understanding mechanical FEA tasks and understanding finite element analysis report

• Familiar with measurement and testing techniques for mechanical components and subsystems, covering dimensional and geometric tolerance measurements, material properties, mechanical strength, environmental and durability testing, and functional testing of mechanical components and subsystems, enabling the preparation of measurements, Test specifications and understanding measurement, testing, reading measurement, test results

• Possessing DFM analysis capabilities for motor or electronic controller products and mechanical support and problem-solving capabilities during industrialization and mass production
