Responsibilities:

• Support the optimization of production processes in plants and prototyping shop in collaboration with development, technology department and equipment suppliers

• Definition of and decision about alternative processes for cost- and quality improvements

• Write equipment specifications

• Sourcing of equipment together with the production plant and purchasing

• Planning and projecting of production equipment together with Plant Industrial Engineering.

• Statistical analysis of conducted experiments

• Define, perform and evaluate machine capability studies (cmk, cpk)

• Knowledge in DOE, SPC, MFU, PFMEA

• Documentation of results out of DOE, machine capability studies, tests

• Basic understanding of financial relations like cost of ownership, depreciation, manufacturing costs

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s in engineering, preferred in the field of mechanics or electronics

• Dedicated to perfect technical solutions and processes

• 1-2 years working experience in the field of process-, industrial engineering or production, dedicated to perfect technical solutions and processes

• At least basic knowledge in the field of hard soldering (brazing), welding, screwing, dispensing, balancing or similar processes

• Knowledge in DOE, SPC, MFU, PFMEA

• Basic understanding of financial relations, like cost of ownership, depreciation, manufacturing costs

• Fluent English skills, written and spoken

• Eager to travel and work abroad (North China, Germany) up to several weeks
