Role Summary/Purpose

This position provides electrical engineering design for critical parts manufacturing. The position works to identify and execute strategic quality engineering efforts in addition to driving cross-functional engagement of quality project initiatives. This role requires the interaction with product design engineering teams in order to ensure the product quality and productivity goals.

Essential Responsibilities

Duties include (but are not limited to): • Responsible for manufacturing equipment electrical architect design, implementation and verification. • Engaging in all phases of new product introduction and process development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support. • Perform electrical parts failure mode analysis, components life-cycle, signals integrality, logic timing and analog tolerance analysis. • Use advanced analog and digital design methodology and analysis skills to solve technical problems in order to achieve product and process excellence. • Delivering improvements to process and equipment for high quality and productivity • Validating process and equipment performance • Participate in new product introductions through process layout, equipment/tool development, and process development. • Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation • Ensuring reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships.

Qualifications/Requirements

Quality Specific Goals:1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required4. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables5. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiativesQualifications:1. BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 2. 8 years engineering experience in a related field3. Experience in power supply development, knowledge of switching and linear power supply design.4. Experience of digital circuit design, FPGA development is mandatory.5. Experience of small signal analog frond end.6. EMC Knowledge and experience7. Knowledge in industrial interfaces, such as CAN, Ethernet, wireless, etc.8. Experience on the wireless device development is a plus.9. Good Communications in written and spoken English
