Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the regions resource program for Pipeline integrity technology • Plan, establish and maintain the Production schedule to meet demand. • Proactively monitor/track project and run movements by maintaining communication with Project Management, Expert Solutions, Inventory, Logistics, and Production so to ensure work schedules are being met. • Analysing and identifying resource conflicts, constraints and risks both locally and globally, finding possible resolutions whilst optimizing the utilisation of the tool fleet. • Lead and facilitate a cross-functional team in a weekly Production meeting to review and discuss the outstanding and potential issues pertaining to projects planned in a rolling 12-week window. • Work with Planners in other regions to meet Global business requirements. • Mentor, train and guide new members of the Planning Team • Assist and help drive development and implementation of process or system changes in order to make the planning function more effective. • Has a good understanding of impact on the business when allocating resources and does so on a least cost/maximum benefit basis. • Ensure all assets/resources are planned and tracked in Maximo • Ensure all assets requiring TIBs/Carnet are tracked and scheduled in Maximo • Ensure all assets requiring Certification/calibration are tracked in Maximo • Identify Variable Cost Productivity Initiatives to minimize cost and Cycle Time on Projects • Enable Cross Product Certification through effective planning and resource utilization in New/Cross Technologies • Utilise Local Resource pool to ensure PII v Contract Staff mix are fully utilized and cross training/certification benefits are achieved as per Regional Goals

Qualifications/Requirements

Technical: • High level of numeracy and literacy. • P.C and keyboard skills. • Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field • Knowledge of planning systems such as Artemis, Team Plan and MS Projects. • Fully competent user of the MS office suit of tools…Excel, Word, Power Point • Familiar with Maximo Systems Behavioral: • Excellent Communication skills • Must be able to strive for continuous improvement. • Sound Team Leadership and motivator of staff • Flexible approach and ability to work to tight deadlines • An ability to mange and co-ordinate multiple projects and activities with a large volume and frequency of change in an extremely face paced environment • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, required to manage multiple demands and conflicting issues needing timely effective resolutions on an ongoing day-to day basis. • Technical and operations knowledge of PII Pipeline inspection equipment.
